Yanks
During WWII, the US established army bases in the United Kingdom as part of the war effort. Many Brits dislike the brash Yanks, especially when it comes to G.I.s making advances on lonely British girls, which goes against their proper sensibilities. One of the relationships that develops is between married John, an Army Captain, and Helen, an aristocratic woman whose naval husband is away at war. Helen adores her husband, but she and John are seeking solace during these trying times.
