Who's Minding the Store?

A proud man who lives a simple life, Jerry Lewis plays Norman Phiffer in the movie. He does not know that his girlfriend is the daughter of the Tuttle Department Store family. Barbara's mother, Mrs. Tuttle, wants to break up her daughter and her boyfriend, so she hires Norman to humiliate him enough that Barbara will leave him for someone else. She might break their love, or he might break her store.
