Angry by humanity's folly, God raises his hands and orders the extinction of the species. A trio of angels with broken hearts makes a pact with him: if they can discover just two good souls, the Lord will allow Earth to endure for a short time longer. Unfortunately, the angels have placed their faith in a thieving bank teller and an inventor/con artist to ensure the survival of the species.
