Jack has returned to the past. He had since lost Lena, and now he learns that he has also lost his other wife, Alice, to Harris. Something goes wrong with the TCL chamber as you're leaving for another assignment. Jack has entered a completely different dimension. He also encounters trancers in various forms. These guys appear to be in command of the entire planet. Jack is able to assist a rebel group known as the "Tunnel Rats" in overthrowing the evil Lord Calaban's rule.
