Owen, a student of Larry Donner's writing workshop, is fed up with his dominating mother. When Owen sees a Hitchcock classic that mirrors his life, he decides to act on the plot and agrees to kill Larry's ex-wife in exchange for Larry killing his mother. Owen appears to have already set things in motion before Larry had a chance to react to the idea.
