Karin hopes that spending the summer at her family's cottage on a small island will help her get over being in a mental hospital. Martin, her husband, cares about her, but he is frustrated by the way she acts. Her younger brother, Minus, is confused by how weak Karin is and how his own sexuality is starting to grow. David, their father, can't get over being rude and distant. Karin gets even more crazy as her visions get worse.
