Burnt-out FBI agent Joel Campbell left Los Angeles to start over in Chicago. Five months later, Joel's best prepared plans are thwarted when his new village is the scene of several exceptionally horrible murders, committed by only one man: David Allen Griffin. An elusive and crafty foe, Griffin has followed Joel to Chicago to play a sadistic game of cat and mouse. Griffin enjoys seeing Joel react to every movement as much as he does watching his victims die.
