This movie is about how the Sandinistas got rid of the government of Anastasio Somoza in Nicaragua. The movie shows some of the most important parts of the battle for León, a city near the capital Managua that was the first area to be freed. A lot of people from Leon who were in the guerrilla movement and the Sandinista army were in the movie.
