Aerial mountain photographer Brad Washburn first photographed Alaska's Denali Mountain from the open door of an airplane 75 years ago. Renan Ozturk, Freddie Wilkinson, and Zack Smith, climbing companions, look at some of Washburn's mountain images and come up with this wild concept. The Moose's Tooth massif, one of the range's most ominous peaks, stands in the way of their aspirational journey. It is an innovative and novel approach to exploring the same terrain that Washburn initially uncovered. Throughout the arduous journey, the group's desire to be the first to complete the audacious route grows into an obsession. When Renan suffers a near-fatal brain injury, the three partners must determine what is most important to them, and the friendships begin to disintegrate.
