When the Earl of Gurney dies in an accident involving cross-dressing, his schizophrenic son, Jack, inherits the estate. Jack is not a typical aristocrat; he sings and dances across the estate and believes he is the reincarnation of Jesus Christ. The Gurney family schemes to steal Jack's inheritance since they believe he is mentally unfit to be the owner. The family's efforts to cure Jack of his unusual behavior fail miserably, despite their crazy ideas.
