It sounded like another urban legend: a videotape with scary images that led to a phone call telling the viewer that he or she would die in exactly seven days. Rachel Keller, a reporter for a newspaper, didn't believe the story until four teenagers died mysteriously exactly one week after watching a similar tape. Rachel finds the video... and watches it. She did this because she wanted to find out more. Now, she only has seven days to figure out what the Ring is all about.
