The Price of a Broken Heart

A story that is based on facts about a major legal case. A woman named Park Overall finds out that her husband has been having a very public relationship with his secretary, Laura Innes. He has also said that he will marry her, which makes her angry. The wife wants to get divorced and also wants to sue the secretary because of a law called "alienation of affection." This law was made to protect married couples from homewreckers. This is a new thing to think about in court. The other woman's guilt must be defended, which takes away from the blame of the married couple.
