In the film, Shane Johnson portrays documentary filmmaker Michael King (Shane Johnson), who is atheist and does not believe in either God or the Devil. In response to the unexpected death of his wife, Michael decides to make his next film about the search for evidence of the existence of the supernatural. He makes himself the subject of the experiment, allowing demonologists, necromancers, and other practitioners of the occult to attempt the most inhumane spells and rituals they can find on him in the hopes that, if they fail, he will have conclusive proof that religion, spiritualism, and the paranormal are nothing more than urban legend. However, something does occur. Michael King has been taken over by a dark and terrible entity. And it is not going to let him go.
