Chloe (Ory) comes from a family of people who have broken up with each other. She wants to become a photographer. There's an old picture album from the 1970s that she finds at the local flea market. It shows the ideal romance of a happy couple. She thinks it's so sweet (Hindle and Barbeau). To prove that true love exists, she sets out to discover the couple featured in the record. Along the way, she meets Gabe Sinclair (Macfarlane), a bartender who is both mysterious and charming. He takes the chance to join Chloe on her mission, and soon he is in love with her, too. When they have very little money, the two go on an adventure, looking for clues that will lead them to the couple and hopefully to true love. As the search goes on, Chloe starts to like Gabe. She won't let these feelings get in the way of her goal to find the two people. Will Chloe overcome her apprehension about falling in love and discover lasting joy?
