With Perry King, Henry Winkler, and Sylvester Stallone in the lead roles, The Lords of Flatbush is a low-budget film directed by Martin Davidson and Stephen Verona with a limited budget (who also wrote additional dialog). In the late 1950s, four Brooklyn youths known as The Lords of Flatbush experience a coming-of-age story that is told through their eyes. Aside from chasing girls and robbing automobiles, the Lords enjoy playing pool and hanging out at a neighborhood malt store. Chico (King) tries to win over Jane (Susan Blakely), a girl who doesn't want anything to do with him, and Stanley (Stallone), who impregnates his girlfriend Frannie, who wants him to marry her, are the main characters of the film.
