Isabel Porter, a young woman who is struggling to come to terms with the tragic deaths of both of her parents in the 19th century Baltimore, checks herself willingly into the Rosewood Institute. She was put through odd and progressively horrific experiments in personality modification, brainwashing, and mind control by the Rosewood, and in order to survive, she needed to break free from their grasp and take her revenge. If she didn't, she would be gone for all time.
