The Firemen's Ball

In commemoration of the elderly chief's retirement, the firefighters of a small Czechoslovakian town toss a ball. A beauty competition, a raffle, and music and dancing are all planned. There will be a large turnout from the entire community. The procedures, on the other hand, are beset by challenges at every turn. Workplace accidents, prize theft, a scarcity of attractive women... and a fire.
