Ivanka, Vasil's wife of many years, has recently passed away. Vasil consults a well-known psychic in an effort to communicate with his wife after a mourner at her burial reports that the deceased woman called her telephone. His son Pavel attempts to bring him to his senses, but Vasil insists on doing things his own way... Grozeva and Valchanov return after the international success of The Lesson and Glory with an intimate family drama on the difficulties of connecting with people closest to us. As the film gradually gains momentum, its plot reveals a number of the ridiculous or humorous events that are typical of the Bulgarian filmmaking partnership.
