The Fare
A charming fare named Penny boards Harris' taxi cab and the world-weary driver finds himself involved in the only kind of courtship he can have with a passenger— one that lasts for the duration of the journey. Then she vanishes from the backseat without a trace, which is exactly what happened. When the fog of misunderstanding clears, he resets his meter and is instantly taken back to the moment she hopped into his cab and into his life. During the course of their lengthy evening cab ride, with only each other for company, secrets will be disclosed and truths will be revealed, and Harris' entire life will be changed for the better as a result.
