For a mother, her daughter, and a stranger, the boundary between the living and the dead blurs in the aftermath of a roadside accident. The film was written, directed, and produced by John Adams, Toby Poser, and Zelda, their daughter. They also star in, shoot, and write the film's music. The family filmmaking team uses their existence in the Catskill Mountains to create a unique cold tone in this breathtaking depiction of resourcefulness. The skeletal woodland creates a dreamlike mood, and when the picture progresses into avant-garde territory, its blue-toned photography takes us into the sea of the subconscious.
