The Color of Money

Former pool hustler "Fast Eddie" Felson decides to return to the game by recruiting a student. He suggests a partnership to the bright but novice Vincent Lauria. Eddie teaches Vincent the tricks of con artistry as they visit pool halls, but he eventually becomes irritated by Vincent's flamboyant behavior, resulting in a disagreement and a breakup. Eddie resumes playing and quickly encounters Vincent as an opponent.
