The Bridge
An order is given to a group of German youths to guard a little bridge in their hometown during the closing months of World War II. Truckloads of beaten, cynical Wehrmacht soldiers evacuate in fear of the approaching American troops, but the youngsters, enthused by the Nazi ideal of "blood and honor," remain to defend the ineffective bridge.
