The Bike Thief
To the Biker his moped is every little thing. As a pizza shipment driver it is his income. As a breadline straddling, immigrant father it is his household's anchor. It takes his spouse to work. It obtains his child to institution. So when one evening the moped is taken, his world collapses. He needs to come back his bike-- or replace it-- anyhow possible, before his next changes starts. If he falls short, he will not just shed his job, he will lose it all. He tries to ask the few acquainted faces for help in this unfamiliar, disorienting city. Nevertheless, as he lacks time and also his alternatives are fraying, his moral compass starts to crack and also he expands increasingly more happy to forgo his conscience in order to save himself and also his family members.
