Abraham Lincoln, one of our country's greatest heroes, was moulded during his formative years in a remote log cabin in the harsh woods of Indiana around the year 1817. There, he experienced the cyclical patterns of love, sorrow, and the rigors of daily living on the expanding frontier. Abe is a thoughtful and reticent young kid who spends his days at his adoring mother's side while also learning to work the land from his strict father. His mother is a farmer. Abe's new stepmother, who recognizes the potential in the youngster and encourages him to continue his studies, becomes his new guardian angel after the boy's mother passes away as a result of an illness.
