South Korean romantic-comedy film The Beast and the Beauty (Yasuwa minyeo) from 2005 When Dong-gun (Ryu Seung-beom), Dong-blind gun's girlfriend, suddenly has surgery to regain her eyesight, the story revolves around it. He has lied to Hae-ju about his appearance and now Dong-gun has taken great measures in order for him to change his appearance as he promises to return. To make matters worse for her, when she runs across a former classmate of DONG GUN's from high school named JOO NHA (KIM KANG WO) (who looks exactly like DONG GUN) in person, HAE JU believes he is actually DONG GUN himself.
