The Assent

Joel, a young single parent, suspects that his little son may be possessed following a series of unsettling unexplained incidents in his home. Soon after, Joel is visited by Father Lambert, a controversial exorcist in town whose most recent case died while undergoing treatment. The priest warns a recalcitrant Joel that unless he can successfully perform an exorcism, the devil will soon take complete control of his son.
