The Armstrong Lie
It was in 2009 that Alex Gibney was hired to make a film about Lance Armstrong's return to cycling, and he did it. When the doping scandal broke, the project was put on hold. It was reopened after Lance Armstrong admitted that he had doped. As of 2013, The Armstrong Lie picks up where it left off. It's a fascinating look at how one of the most amazing stories in the history of sports came to light. It's Lance Armstrong's own words: "I didn't live a lot of lies, but I lived a big one."
