Summer Wars
Kenji is a normal adolescent misfit. He is good at math, terrible with women, and spends the majority of his time in the all-powerful online group known as OZ. His second life is his only one, until Natsuki, the girl of his dreams, recruits him to play a pretend fiancé during her family reunion. Things only become stranger thereafter. A late-night email carrying a cryptic mathematical puzzle unleashes a malicious AI intent on destroying the real world through the virtual world of Oz. In this "near-perfect blend of social satire and science fiction," Kenji and his new "family" put aside their differences and work together to save the worlds they inhabit as Armageddon approaches.
