Rebecca had spent most of her childhood on a farm in South Dakota, and she feels immediately out of place in the intimidating urban surroundings when she goes to college in Los Angeles. Rebecca is friends by Crawl, a clever party animal who persuades the reluctant Rebecca to stay in the city.
