The stooges are traveling salesmen who find themselves stranded in Valeska, a tropical region prone to earthquakes. After failing to sell fur coats to natives, they are detained when they receive a telegram telling them to "get rid of present outfit," and an official suspects them of plotting to assassinate President Ward Robey. The guys escape a firing squad with the help of Rita, a gorgeous revolutionary, and are dispatched on a mission to deliver vital plans to the revolutionary leader. When they present a rolled-up calendar by mistake, they are on their way to the firing squad again, but are saved when Rita comes with the true blueprints.
