G.T. Benz, a veteran of the Vietnam War and recent widower, tries to deal with getting older and being alone while being harassed by an angry robo-caller. His life is boring and stressful, and the only thing that helps is a weekly get-together with his old Vietnam buddies, who were also fighter pilots. He is looking forward to a visit from his daughter, "Tricia," whom he hasn't seen in a long time and calls "my only reason to live." His doctor's bad news makes him want to see her at least once more as soon as possible. But Tricia keeps putting off her visit because she doesn't know how G.T. is doing. In the meantime, a friend from Vietnam dies, and the robocalls get worse. When a manipulative woman from G.T.'s past shows up, she throws his life into chaos and pushes him to do something desperate.
