Summer of 1999 is when a group of teenagers, through stories that connect, live through their last day of high school and prepare for the next. Holly, who was a new girl at school at first, does everything she can to stay in the good books. Dawn, who is secretly gay, fights drugs. At graduation, Tori decides to try drugs for the first time. She is the valedictorian of her class, but she decides to do it on the last day of school.
