Upon graduating from Delhi University, a group of friends returns to their old campus, where they remain until a British director casts them in a film she is creating about independence fighters under British rule. Despite the fact that the gang is generally apolitical, the tragic death of a friend as a result of corruption in the local government causes them to become more patriotic. The buddies come to a collective decision to avenge the assassination, spurred on by the freedom warriors they portray in the film.
