During the height of World War II, a young Danny Coogan dreams of joining the war effort while staying in a hotel in the United States. When Danny comes across an old man's crate of mysterious puppets after Mr. Toulon's assassination by Nazi assassins, he is plunged into a conflict that is entirely unlike anything he has ever experienced before. He learns that the Nazis Max and Klaus, as well as the attractive Japanese saboteur Ozu, have conspired to destroy a secret American manufacturing site, which he investigates.
