Protégé
For the past seven years, undercover officer Nick had been infiltrating the heart of a drug ring, working his way up the ranks from his beginnings as a street dealer to his current position as a cargo delivery manager for Kwan, the dominant player in the local heroin market. With money and power in his hands after the dying Kwan appoints him as his protégé, Nick can't help but sway in the direction of money and power, and soon finds himself acting in the role of a true drug trafficker. Nick becomes increasingly perplexed about his true identity as a result of this, as well as his affair with heroin junkie Jane, which ultimately leads to a terrible conclusion.
