Playing God
Dr. Eugene Sands, a renowned Los Angeles surgeon, has his medical license revoked after performing an operation while high on amphetamines. He abandons his previous life, only to run across Raymond Blossom, a notorious counterfeiter. Eugene is hired as a "gun-shot doctor" when Raymond's associates can't go to the hospital because they don't want to get hurt. Eugene gets sucked into the criminal world and ends up with Raymond's girlfriend.
