Pioneer
When Pioneer is set in the early '80s, it coincides with the start of the Norwegian Oil Boom. Oil and gas deposits of enormous size have been discovered in the North Sea, and the authorities hope to bring the oil ashore through a pipeline that will reach depths of 500 meters. Petter is a professional diver who is obsessed with reaching the bottom of the Norwegian Sea. He possesses the discipline, strength, and courage to undertake the most dangerous mission on the planet. A fatal event, on the other hand, affects everything. Petter is dispatched on a risky voyage during which he loses track of who is in control. His sense of being in over his head and that his life is on the line gradually dawns on him.
