Young poet Adrian makes the decision to uproot his life and move to Spain after realizing he can find better opportunities there. He wants to make some positive changes in his life, including getting a job and improving his Spanish skills. After moving to Cordoba, he found work at a car dealership there, where he was responsible for the sales of both used and new vehicles. He conceals himself from view during the day in a modest trailer that is parked in the parking lot of the car dealership. One day, Adrian stumbles across a parcel containing a CD and a flyer advertising a tour by a band that combines elements of flamenco and jazz. Both the music and the photograph of Maria, who is a member of the band and plays the bass guitar, have a spellbinding effect on him.
