Adapted on the novel "Mustanger and the Lady" by acclaimed western novelist Dusty Richards, 'Painted Woman' tells the narrative of Julie Richards. Julie is a woman of her generation, transferred from hand to hand in a web of cruelty and prostitution that eventually lands her at Kyle Allison's feet. Allison, a wealthy businessman in Goldfield's old west, welcomed little Julie into his home and turned her into his trophy. This life came with the benefit of being looked after, but at the expense of additional abuse.
