Marek, a slave, wants to become a wizard. Marek escapes her master and teams up with Thane the warrior and Dagen the half-elf thief to save Teela's sister from orcs and ogres. The company discovers after attacking an orc camp that Teela's sister was stolen by a monstrous ogre.
