Monkey in the Middle
Already, Chris's workaholic father is pressing him to meet new people. Luckily, football (soccer) practice begins, and Chris meets some of the team's members, including his lovely neighbor Mara. Chris accepts Mara's invitation to help rescue some mistreated fair animals. They go to the fair that night, but ringleader Malick scares them away. Chris discovers Momo, a cute little monkey, in his backpack the next morning. Chris must find a method to keep Momo hidden from Malick's ravenous grasp. Mara spends a lot of time with Chris, and Momo even helps him out on the football field. Summer will be busy for Chris, but will it be enough to make him crazy?
