When Mrs. Claus (Tedde Moore) sees that her husband (Mairtin O'Carrigan) has lost his holiday spirit, she is worried. They thought they could make Nick happy again. She secretly went to New York, where she first met Nick. She thinks she can help him get back into the spirit of Christmas, so she went there. Rebecca meets Joe (Greg Bryk), a kind cop who is worried about this kindly grandmother, who is alone and has little money. They go to a crowded New York diner together. A divorce is in the works between Joe and his wife, Lucy (Tricia Helfer), and Joe tells her about it. Joe is still very much in love with his wife, and Rebecca agrees to work as the family's nanny until Christmas because she thinks that. Her act of healing Joe and Lucy's family shows Santa that Christmas miracles are still possible, and his job is more important than ever!
