Lucky and Zorba

A seagull is stuck in the black tide of a petrol ship that is sinking in the ocean. She manages to fly inland and ends up in a garden, where she is rescued by a cat. She is in a state of desperation, so she begs the cat to keep three promises: that when she lays her egg, he will not eat it; that he would care for it until it hatches; and that he will teach the newborn how to fly.
