When Danny and his partner Ron opened their dog shelter, they named it Danny & Ron's Rescue. In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, life partners Ron Danta and Danny Robertshaw were inspired to help the thousands of stranded and abandoned canines. More than 10,000 dogs have been saved and cared for by the two men since they started a dog sanctuary in their home a decade ago.
