When Rayford Steele's relationship with his wife goes south, he fantasizes about having an affair with a beautiful flight attendant, Hattie Durham. A number of passengers inexplicably vanish during a journey to London, and chaos ensues when a number of vehicles on the ground and in the air become unmanned. It's Buck Williams' job as a television journalist to cover Dr. Chaim Rosenzweig of Israel, an Israeli scientist who has developed a formula that would allow anyone to farm any soil on Earth. If Rosenzweig and two multi-millionaires aim to broker the invention for their own objective of international dominance, then Buck has some doubts about the doctor's integrity.
