Laugh or Die
Parikka, the actor when called the Funniest Man in Finland, and his troupe will be executed for the wrongs committed during the Civil War in Finland. Jaeger Lieutenant Nyborg, an admirer of Parikka, believes a guaranteed miscarriage of justice. He wishes to conserve the actors. The forthcoming browse through of the German General von der Goltz to the jail island supplies him with an appropriate possibility. Nyborg recommends that the stars prepare a humorous performance for the site visitor and not be shot. Instead, they will be offered a brand-new test. Preparing a funny in the horrible situations, in the midst of appetite and fatality, seems rather a frustrating job. Only a handful of real stars are still active, the rest of the performers consists of stagehands. Parikka needs to make use of all his innovative abilities to be able to produce something amusing.
