George Lollar takes his family on a vacation with "Club Sand," a shabby and untrustworthy firm that provides substandard service. They discover troops everywhere on their tropical island, as well as an incompetent staff, unpleasant accommodations, and unsavory holidaymakers, but everyone, with the exception of George, manages to have a good time in the sun.
