Kagemusha
The story follows a lowly criminal who is hired to impersonate Shingen, an old warlord, in order to dodge attacks from other clans. When Shingen dies, his generals reluctantly accept for the impostor to succeed him as the great ruler. He soon comes to appreciate life as Shingen, but his dedication to the role is put to the test when he must lead his warriors into combat against a rival warlord's army.
