Jan Dara: The Finale
Based on a well-known Thai pornographic novel, the film depicts the tale of Jan, a young boy who grows up in a home ruled by his sadistic and depraved father, Luang Wisnan. The novel is set in the 1930s and focuses on Jan, whose mother dies while giving birth to him and whose father despises him severely. Jan is raised by his stepmother, Aunt Wad, and he fights to reconcile his guilt and need with several women in his life, including the girl he cherishes, Hyacinth, and Madame Boonleung, his father's mistress and the key to his sexual awakening.
