In Panama, a group of five young American friends on the edge of adulthood go to recharge and reconnect. When they meet locals at the hotel bar, they make friends with one of the bartenders, who goes against her brother's orders and takes the Americans on a day trip to the gorgeous waterfalls in the adjacent forest. When she goes missing mid-trip to a beautiful waterfall, what starts off as a fun day trip quickly turns into a scary ordeal. The pals realize too late that the fabled, blood-sucking Chupacabra is approaching them as night falls.
